A Quality Engineer is required for Link 51(Storage Products) based in Telford, Shropshire.  Offering a salary of £20,000 per annum.

The Company:

For more than 60 years, Link 51 has specialised in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of pallet racking, shelving, lockers and other storage systems for organisations large or small, to local and international clients.

As Quality Engineer you will be based within the Pallet Racking Systems Division at our site in Telford.

Job Role:

To ensure integrated standards (Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety) are met at all stages of the Manufacturing process within the QS9000, ISO14000 and BS18000 frameworks as set out in the Company’s Integrated Policy Manual.

Key Requirements:

• Ensure all systems documentation is current (Quality , Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety).
• Communicate supplier rejects and report on corrective actions.
• Carry out internal and external integrated audits.
• Produce product initial sample inspection reports and sign off.
• New product quality plans.
• Identify quality improvements.
• Integrate 14001 Environmental Documentation and 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Documentation.

Key Skills:

• Computer Literate Office and AutoCAD.
• Manufacturing / Engineering Quality Background.
• Familiar with environmental and occupational health and safety requirements. 
• Experience in presswork, welding and powder coating an advantage.
