A VOIP Telecoms Engineer is required for Entanet based in Telford, Shropshire.  Offering a salary of between £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

The Role:
 
As VOIP / SIP Engineer you will:

• Design telephony solutions over IP networks.
• Provide 2^nd line VOIP support to customers over the phone and by email.
• Configure and install IP telephony systems at customer sites around the UK.
• Test and evaluate telephony hardware
• Maintain the ongoing support of systems after implementation.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Experience of building and configuring Asterix PBX software including writing dial plans and AGI programming.
• Understanding of networking issues affecting VOIP, VPN, VLAN and NAT traversal.
• In depth knowledge of SIP.
• Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, DNS and IPv6.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Must be a flexible team player.
