Medical Director of Oncology and Hematology in Knoxville, TN

Established oncology group in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Medical Director to lead its growing team of Hem/Oncs and APPs. They are the largest provider of cancer care in East Tennessee, with eight locations throughout the region. The Medical Director will be responsible for the overall clinical oversight for the group/medical oncology program in collaboration with the group?s leadership team. 

About the practice

• The team currently consists of 10 Hem/Onc, 3 Gyn/Onc and 12 APPs 
• Supported by a team of nurse navigators, oncology nurses, dieticians, genetic counselors, clinical trails specialists, physicists, pharmacist, social workers counselors and much more? 
• Disease-specific tumor conferences and multi-disciplinary clinics

Requirements

• Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years clinical experience
• Previous effective provider leadership experience
• Must be board certified in both medical oncology and hematology
• Medical director will do at least 2 days of clinic per week.
