An academic medical center in western Massachusetts has an opening for Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Opportunity Details

• Provide leadership for 14 pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians and 4 pediatric Advanced Practice Providers
• 18-bed State-of-the-art pediatric ED. Separate from adult ED
• The pediatric ED team sees 30,000 visits annually
• Serve as the operational and clinical leader for the team, as well as a strategic partner with executive leadership
• Develop and execute regional goals for our organization
• Advance the academic mission of the division.
• Partner with our fellowship director to oversee our ACGME approved fellowship in pediatric EM
• Faculty appointment at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School
• Support is available to develop more robust clinical research opportunities for the division
• Strong pediatric specialty support from our Children?s Hospital
• 7 bed PICU, level III NICU and 53-bed pediatric and adolescent inpatient units
• Excellent collaboration with adult EM and subspecialty colleagues where shared interests overlap
• Base salary plus incentive comp and bonuses. Relocation assistance available
